Love the product- wish it had velcro ties to hold it in place, however. The construction of the product is superior and will last. Once again, love the feel of the cushion. It really works to combat ‘numb bum’.

I ordered 2 for the trip we were taking , my husband didnt take his and half way through i let him use mine as his butt was sore. I found it also great as a back rest. A little bulky in my backpack but doable. We use them at home for extra cush as well in certain chairs. Inflating and deflating were easy as well. I questioned my order, but glad I purchased them. I can see taking these to events especially where bleachers will be used. Nice for those over 70.😀

Store owner replied: Hi Emily, I'm sorry the cushion let you down right before a 10-hour flight. One thing that catches most people out: the pump won't work unless the inflate valve cap is pulled off — it's tucked under the air cell with the "inflate" label. If the cap is left on, the air just recirculates and nothing happens, no matter how long you pump. When the cap is fully off, you'll see a red button, and pressing down firmly on the cushion 30-40 times will fill it. I can’t keep this thing inflated. I have tried all different ways, but after I sit on it for a short time, I notice my tailbone hurts as normal, then notice its deflated. I try repumping several times a day. I do not want to give up on it, but thinking-its just a dud. Ive been testing it out in my home office the last few weeks before my international trip, and at this point, will likely just leave it behind.
Put one in my car & one on my dining chair. Really helps me with my hip to sit for longer periods of time. Can’t wait to test it on a longer trip or flight.

I bought these cushions for my sister who has Als and is sitting in a wheelchair most of the day. She tried both cushions and unfortunately they didn’t take away the pain or the wounds on her butt. While I haven't actually used the cushion on the plane yet, I have been using it on my couch. A definite help with the low quality airline seats. Fairly easy to inflate. Folds up nicely to stow in a carry on backpack.
My sister and I went on a recent trip to Arizona. And we used the traveler cushions on our flight there and back as well as in our car rental that we drove four hours one day and four hours back the following day let me just say they work great! This was only a test run. Because next March, I’ll be traveling to Israel. This item is going to be in my travel bag.

I find it difficult to plug it in a way that doesn’t let quite a bit of air back out, but once I get it plugged, it’s great.

It really has made a difference in both my daily chairs and my travel, but it does not fold easily or small. It’s quite bulky.

On the bulk: if it's not packing down small, it's usually because the deflate valve's inner second layer hasn't been fully opened, so some air stays trapped. Pulling that second layer up firmly lets the rest of the air out, and it folds down a lot flatter from there. EZ to pump before plane took off (1 minute, tops); EZ to deflate & rebag upon taxiing to the gate (1 minute or less)! My seatmate commented, "that looks like a really good idea!" and at the end of our 6+ hour flight I told him that it was amazingly comfy!! Also a visiting niece with a bruised tailbone injury found comfort sitting on my Travlr pillow over our entire visit. The product worked great, but I was bumped into first class and didn't need it for my seat. I kept it rolled up and used it as a lumbar support pillow which I need on long flights. It will be included in my bag for sure even if it isn't used for the designed seat position. Amazingly several fellow passengers saw me do it and remarked that was a smart idea for our transcontinental flight.

My 10 hour flight was delayed, so used it to sit on the floor as there were no available chairs, as was able to get up off the floor with no aches and pains. Then used it on the 10 hour flight and had NO hip or back pain. If you’re thinking about getting one of these cushions…do it!

I’m using both of the seat “bubbles” daily. I found they are great and use them around the house. No need to wait for a plane trip in order to get the benefit of a comfortable chair.
