A foam or gel pad adds padding, and padding can squash flat. This has 36 connected air cells that spread pressure across your sit bones. It's the same air-cell approach hospitals use to prevent pressure sores. You get 60 days to see if it works.
You won't need any puff. Take the inflate cap off and press the corner cell about 30 to 40 times. It does take some hand strength, so try it at home first. You have a 60-day return window if it doesn't suit your hands.
It holds air the whole flight once the inflate cap is pressed firmly back on. That cap is the step that matters, so check it before takeoff. If the valve, a seam or an air cell fails in the first year, it's replaced.

I ordered 2 for the trip we were taking , my husband didnt take his and half way through i let him use mine as his butt was sore. I found it also great as a back rest. A little bulky in my backpack but doable. We use them at home for extra cush as well in certain chairs. Inflating and deflating were easy as well. I questioned my order, but glad I purchased them. I can see taking these to events especially where bleachers will be used. Nice for those over 70.😀

My husband used the Travlr first on a train trip from New York to St. Paul, Minnesota. First the dining car's seat was uncomfortable. Then the train compartment seat was more comfortable with the Travlr. At home, it magically appeared on "his" antique chair. I guess it won't be folded up and put away until our next trip.

Easy to set up ….Great and comfy… easy to pack
I’ve been trying it out on my recliner and I didn’t realize that I had a problem tailbone issue with my recliner till I tried out this product on it. Makes a big difference.

One thing that catches most people out: the pump won't work unless the inflate valve cap is pulled off — it's tucked under the air cell with the "inflate" label. If the cap is left on, the air just recirculates and nothing happens, no matter how long you pump. When the cap is fully off, you'll see a red button, and pressing down firmly on the cushion 30-40 times will fill it. I can’t keep this thing inflated. I have tried all different ways, but after I sit on it for a short time, I notice my tailbone hurts as normal, then notice its deflated. I try repumping several times a day. I do not want to give up on it, but thinking-its just a dud. Ive been testing it out in my home office the last few weeks before my international trip, and at this point, will likely just leave it behind.
Put one in my car & one on my dining chair. Really helps me with my hip to sit for longer periods of time. Can’t wait to test it on a longer trip or flight.

I went to put the cover back on my neck pillow after washing it. The foam ended up splitting in half. I don’t think the amount of money I paid equals the quality of the product I received.
One cushion is on my recliner seat....and one in backpack for non-stop flight Newark to Tokyo. Not taking any chances on nonflexible airplane seat.
I bought these cushions for my sister who has Als and is sitting in a wheelchair most of the day. She tried both cushions and unfortunately they didn’t take away the pain or the wounds on her butt. I appreciate you letting me have the time for her to try them. Unfortunately, I would still like to return both cushions for a refund. please let me know if that’s possible.

Really great. Easy to inflate. Doesn’t deflate when you sit on it. I take it everyone with me. Very easy stored. Bought a second one for a friend. Highly recommend for sciatica pain, hip pain or tendon issue in hips.
I have one cushion on my home office chair, one on the recliner, and one in the car. They have helped my hip and tail bones feel much better after long periods of time when I am seated.
While I haven't actually used the cushion on the plane yet, I have been using it on my couch. I have sciatica in both legs and it just kills me to sit for long so I inflated one cushion and it's made a world of difference! I would definitely recommend it and am anxious to use it on the plane next week!
A definite help with the low quality airline seats. Fairly easy to inflate. Folds up nicely to stow in a carry on backpack.
My sister and I went on a recent trip to Arizona. And we used the traveler cushions on our flight there and back as well as in our car rental that we drove four hours one day and four hours back the following day let me just say they work great! This was only a test run. Because next March, I’ll be traveling to Israel. This item is going to be in my travel bag.
